Reflections from the Heart of Allan Redenius
Is the current war, in which the United States is engaged with Iran (biblical Persia), the beginning of the Ezekiel war of Gog and Magog?  (Ezekiel 38 & 39)  Always remember we need to look at world events through the lens of the Bible. The Bible is the only infallible book, the only book of truth upon which we can rely.  Some might ask, “How do you know that to be true?”  It is the only book in all of creation inspired by God.  (II Timothy 3:16)
As we look objectively at the facts of Epic Fury, we can see, with a little imagination, biblical prophecies beginning to unfold.
  • A careful reading of Ezekiel 38 tells us that Russia eventually will be the leader of an alliance referred to as Magog who is drawn into battle with Israel through divine Providence.  The Bible says God will, “...put a hook in the nose of Gog Prince of Magog to draw him down.”  What could possibly be this hook?  Could it be that Israel’s recent massive discovery of natural gas will one day replace the huge amount of gas that Russia sells to Europe for heating?
  • Ezekiel 38 says that Israel will be living in peace and prosperity.  Certainly, today Israel does not live in peace.  But one day, they very well may live in peace with a massive fortune.  A fortune once accumulating in the treasury of Russia, in future years accumulating in the treasury of Israel.  Could it be that In Israel’s false sense of security because of prosperity, they let their guard down and Russia sees an easy target?  Could this be the, “… hook in the nose?”
  • Often, we hear that the United States is not mentioned anywhere in biblical end times prophecy.  As the army of Magog advances into Israel, Ezekiel 38 says that the “young lions” only ask of Magog, “Have you come to take a plunder?”  It seems all of Israel’s allies will have abandoned them.  Already we see in Epic Fury the allies of Israel refusing to come to the defense of Israel by refusing to help the United States.  Could this be the beginning of NATO refusing to come to the rescue of Israel in the future Ezekiel war?  Sad to say, but eventually all the countries of the world turn their back on Israel, even the United States.
If you are one of those who said you wanted to live in biblical times, well, you are!

Keeping an eye on Jerusalem to see which way the world turns.
