Falling Apart Party

Reflections from the Heart of Allan Redenius
Here I am once again, sitting in the doctor's waiting room. ☹  I am not happy about it at all.  Too many doctor visits!
 
Why am I here?  Well, the short answer is that I'm getting older.  My brain thinks all of me is 36 years old.  My body is maturing faster in that it knows it's 76.  “Move!  Move faster!  You can do it!” says my brain.  My body tries to keep up.  The hard reality is that it cannot.
 
I feel like I'm falling apart!  I told Armona that I'm going to throw a “Falling Apart Party!” 😊  Anyone who has chronic pain, uses a cane or a crutch, or suffers from any other mental or physical ailment that plagues you, is invited.  I suspect my party is going to be well attended with lots of heads, some of which will be adorned with gray hair, some with no hair at all.  
 
If you are like me, it's like a tug of war is going on between my body and my brain.  My brain says to my body, “Yes, you can!”  My body says to my brain, “No, you can't!”  I don't know about you, but I'm cheering for my brain.  Never give in!  Never give up!  So, hang on body!  Be like the little engine that could, until you absolutely can't!
